Shared Albums feature in iCloud Photos. Shared Albums feature in iCloud Photos lets you build Shared Photo Albums which can be shared with others. Here are the steps needed to share iCloud Photos with other users.
Share iCloud Photos With Others
To share your Photos from iCloud with others You must first enable the Shared Albums feature in iCloud Photos on your iPhone.
Next step: create an album that you can share on iCloud by using the Photos app for the iPhone and iPad.
After you have created your Shared Album, you can add photos and videos that you wish to share with your friends and invite others to view photos in Your Shared Album.
You can also choose whether or not wish to let others comment on and add photos to your shared Album.
1. Enable Shared Albums in iCloud
As stated above The initial step to take is enable Shared Albums within Apple Photos in iCloud for your iPhone and iPad.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone, scroll to the bottom and then tap Photos.
2. On the next screen, ensure that you have enabled iCloud Photos.
3. On the same screen, scroll down to activate the Shared Albums option by moving the slider to the ON position.
2. Create Shared Album on iCloud
Next step would be to make a Shared album on iCloud.
1. Open Photos App on your iPhone and then tap on the Albums tab at the bottom of the menu.
2. On the Albums screen, tap the + Plus icon , and then select New Shared Album .
3. On the next screen, enter a name for the Shared Album, then press Next.
4. Tap on Create to create a Shared Album on iCloud.
By following the steps above you’ve made an Shared Album with iCloud Photos. iCloud Photos.
3. Add Photos to Shared Album on iCloud
After you have created your Shared Album You begin adding images and videos you would like to share with others in the Shared Album.
1. Open Photos App and tap Albums tab, scroll down until you find the Shared Album.
2. Once you are in the Shared Album Click to the plus icon.
3. On the next screen, select the photos you would like to share with other users and click Done.
4. On the next screen, you can tap Post to add the photos you have selected to the Shared Album.
4. Invite People to iCloud Shared Album
Follow the steps below to invite others to join your Shared Album in iCloud.
1. Open Photos app Click on Albums tab then scroll down until you find the Shared Album.
2. Once you are in the Shared Album, tap on the People tab at the bottom of the menu.
3. On the next screen, tap the Invite People… Links.
NOTE: You can enable Subscribers Can Post feature in order to permit others to share photos and Videos to your shared album.
4. On the next screen, you can add the people you wish to invite to the Shared Album by entering their Names or by pressing the + Plus icon and selecting Contacts from your Contacts List on your iPhone.
5. Remove People From Shared Album
Any time, you can stop anyone from accessing Photos from the Shared Album by removing them from the Shared Album.
1. Open Photos App and tap Albums tab, scroll down until you find the Shared Album.
2. On the next screen, you can tap on the People tab in the lower menu.
3. On the next screen, choose the Contact Name you wish to remove from the Shared Album.
4. On the next screen, click on the Remove Subscriber to remove this particular contact from the Shared Album.
5. On the confirmation pop-up, tap Remove for confirmation.
6. Add More Photos to Shared Album on iCloud
You can add additional photos into your Album Shared at any point using the instructions listed below.
1. Open Photos App Click on Albums, then tap the Albums tab, scroll down until you find the Shared Album.
2. Once you are in the Shared Album, tap on the plus button. This will open Your Photos Album.
3. On the next screen, select the photos you wish to include in Your Shared Album and then tap Done.
7. Delete Photos From Shared Album
In the same way, you can also take or remove photos of Your Shared Album at anytime, using the instructions below.
1. Open Photos App and tap Albums tab then scroll down, and then tap the Shared Album.
2. Once you are within the Shared Album, click on the Select button located in the upper-right corner of your screen.
3. On the next screen, choose Photos you would like to delete, and click on the Trash can icon located at the bottom-right corner.
4. On the confirmation pop-up, click on the delete button to confirm.
8. Delete Shared Album on iCloud
Once the Shared Album is no longer serving it’s purpose, the user are able to erase it from the Shared Album at anytime.
1. Open the Photos App, then tap the Albums tab at bottom of menu then scroll down to tap on the Shared Album .
2. In Shared Album you can tap onto the People tab in the middle menu.
3. On the next screen, scroll to top and click Delete shared album.
4. On the confirmation pop-up, click on delete to confirm.
